Chiffon and Chantilly

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing this shabby pink card featuring some beautiful papers from Lemoncraft and tons of soft chiffon, laces and a beautiful butterfly applique. Super feminine, don't you think! You can purchase these fantastic papers at Lisa's Etsy shop.

The white embellishment was actually silver. I embossed it with white embossing powder and then sanded the top of it to give it an antique look. The pink gemstone and pink decorative pin were clear, and I coloured them with my new Copic marker, so fun! Be prepared for tons of pink embellishments in the future! lol

We had quite the warm spell this week and after three days of rain, all of the snow was gone. Just when I was about to start complaining about the dull grey world, the temperatures dropped, the rain froze and the snow started falling! What a beautiful sight!

Early morning Blue Jay catching a rare moment of sun.

I thought you would all like to see what a beautiful woman Baby Kate is growing up to be! Tell me she isn't the spitting image of her Mom (Crazy Karen)! I just wanna pinch her cheeks and hug her all the time!

Continuing my promise to photograph all my patio friends...Everyone meet Baby Chuckles. Another little guy from the autumn baby batch this year that I've never posted a photo of. He is super shy and hides behind the tree trunk until he thinks I'm not looking. If I look directly at him, he turns his away, as if that means I can't see him. So hilarious!

"Any chance you toss a peanut up here Miss? Pretty please...it's super cold on the ground."
~Perfect Patti~

"Did you just call me Frosty? Oh that's hilarious human. FRIGGING hilarious!"
~Mr Chubb~

I have some cool news to share with you today. An online magazine "intoBirds" published a short article about my bird photography and my Instagram gallery. I was pretty darned honoured and thrilled!! It's a really short read if anyone is interested in checking it out...
