Christmas Carols

Hi Everyone!

Yesterday was like Christmas morning at my house when I received my prize package from Lisa's giveaway at A Mermaid's Crafts. I was so lucky to win some amazing paper collections from Lemoncraft and I am loving their designs! I ran to my craft room and whipped up this little holiday card using papers from their Christmas collection called Christmas Carols!

The colours seem a little off in my photos, they are actually quite soft and vintage looking in real life, but I think I forget to adjust the contrast! Thanks again Lisa for my wonderful package!

The wooden ornament is from Wycinanka, the sweet little epoxy piece in the middle is also from Lemoncraft, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and everything else is from my stash. More Styrofoam balls from the butt end of the dog toy, I'm loving how they look like little snowballs!

I can't believe how much rain we've been getting this autumn, it's been a decade at least since I've seen this kind of precipitation!  I have mixed feeling about it. On one hand, I'm stuck inside because I don't have the proper footwear or gear for trudging around in the mud. On the other hand, when the temperatures fall enough, all that precipitation will be coming down as snow, and we all know I love that idea! HA!

This handsome Cardinal is also wondering how much snow to expect this winter!

🎵Hey Blue Jay, keep playing that song, all night. On and on and on.🎵

"Who goes there! Oh, camera. Lady, it's you again!"
~Mr Skunk~

"The bowl is empty, I eat the bowl! You know the rule!"
~Lenny~

"Oh my gaaaawd, this place is a mess! How's a girl supposed to find anything in all these leaves!
~Scarlet~

"This is what I like to call a finders-keepers situation, ok!"
~a trail friend~

On a trip to visit Bon Jovi's resting spot in October, I ran across this gorgeous little girl. Bright orange ears and an orange tipped tail... I'm thinking a possible offspring of Bon Jovi herself! It's a lovely thought isn't! Thanks to the help of my IG friends, I have named her Faith, from the song "Keep the Faith" (Bon Jovi).

For my macro today, I thought I would share these beautiful dripping flowers. Does anyone know what kind of flower is in full bloom in November! So strange to this on the trail!

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

  7. Hi Pamellia what great papers you won and you made such a gorgeous card with it. Very vintage and so pretty. I hope your rain turns to snow too....I do loooooove snowy photos. Great to see that the spirit of Bon Jovi may well live on. I meant to answer your question back re the witch board..it's a shop not a pub sign but it is up all year. The village is in Burley in the New Forest and it keeps Halloween all year ! Take care my friend and it's always lovely to see you over at mine, I hope things are ticking along OK for you. Hugs xxx

  9. Congrats on the win, Pamellia! Now that my jaw has been picked up from the floor... I can squeak out my first thought, "you just whipped this out?" LOL I cannot begin to think how long it would take me to make this card, let alone have the imagination to make it! LOL GORGEOUSNESS, right down to the tiny circle of holly centered on that magnificent snowflake. Your layers and textures are always a marvel.

Lenny and Scarlet's thoughts have me in chuckles this morning. LOL All your fur friends are darling, of course. Love, de
