So I've been trying to grab some cute pics of the squirrels playing in the leaves, but the darned city workers rake them up as fast as they can fall. I've decided to take a bag out to The Shire, fill it up with leaves and then dump it on the grass in the park, just so I can get some darned autumn shots! Wonder if that's considered littering? lol.

Meanwhile, a quick trick of the eye with this landscape photo. It's actually not an autumn shot. I took this as the sun came up and lit up the tops of the trees. Sure looks like autumn leaves, doesn't it!

"Wait, this is my good side, ok go ahead and take the picture now."
~Mr Blue Jay~

During the horrific heat wave we had last week, I noticed the birds trying to sit in the squirrel water dish, but they keep getting chased away, so I have put out a nice new hanging bird bath for them that the squirrels can't reach. This Sparrow is trying to figure out what it is. Hilarious!

Since I discovered Pigeons, I've been fascinated with the amazing variety of colours and patterns these beautiful birds come in. What a remarkable bird!

"Pardon me Ma'am. You got any spare food for a hungry old gal? I'll let'cha pet me!"
~African Pygmy Goat~

"How long do I have to sit pretty before you throw me a frickin' cookie!"
~Stan Lee~

"I am not the frog you're looking for!"
~Baby Kay~

"Excuse me Miss. I found this on the forest floor, but there's only half. Do you happen to have the other half?"
~a trail friend~

That's it for today. Thank you for stopping in and for all the amazing comments. If you have any questions or interesting tidbits about today's wildlife, please let me know.

  7. Hi Pamellia,
oh my word waht a very pretty and femine card.
This is my fave colour and it's so very stunningly beautiful.
Your combination of stash used is outstanding, and that shapeed card is so very pretty.
I find I can never take it all in in one look and often return to look yet again.
As always your photos are outstanding and very wonderfully captured.
I too have noticed the trees the other side of my fence in the lake behind my dwelling how they glow like Autumn when the Sun is rising early in the mornings, and was quite taken aback the first time I encountered it.
I also believe mountains get this glow too with sunrise or sunsets from picture I have seen.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  19. Good Morning Wishes to You...here rain, darkness and humid, so your most Beautiful card has made me smile and given me great inspiration to get busy. Loving these papers. I sent you a FB invite, you may enjoy the outdoor fall photos they have to share. Your leaf idea made me think you'd enjoy a post from them on my page. Pigeons are beautiful birds, they love barns in Iowa ! People take them as a messy bird here but they are fun to watch and we are familiar with Homing Pigeons in this area..so much more appreciation for them. Always enjoy my visit Have a fun weekend.

  24. Hi Pamellia
So I've got to ask, there are African Pygmy Goats in The Shire lol?
You really bring out the best in the Pion Papers......really bringing them to life. Beautiful card.
Pigeons tend to be messy pains in the butt here so get called flying rats. Yours is a pretty one though.....as pigeons go lol!

    1. Haha! Actually that goat photo was taken at the zoo, I just forgot to include the info for that. Most people feel the same way about pigeons, messy and a pain in the ass. It's too bad because they are actually super intelligent and so fun to interact with. Pigeons, much like raccoons and squirrels, have adapted to this planet full of concrete that we have given them. We call them pests, but it's sort of our own fault isn't it? Sorry, getting preachy lol. hugs Ang :)
